It's Okay to fail

I'm writing it as a reminder for myself that it's Okay to have downs and not only ups. It's Okay to feel disappointed. It's totally alright to miss opportunities and fail things.

Hustle-marketers teach us to push, rush and achieve but does it always work for those marketers themselves? Don't they procrastinate? Don't they feel depressed? Oh, boy, they do because we all do - we've been baked from the same dough.

Can we guess how much time and hard work it needed to get that Top Rated badge on Upwork? How many unanswered job applications? How many change requests from clients?

Any ideas how much it cost to get that Microsoft MVP badge? How many blog posts without likes? How many conference presentations with empty rooms? How many opensource contributions without stars?

Can we even imagine how much blood and sweat it required from that founder to raise that round? How many failed experiements? How many sacrifices in life? How many broken relationships? How many weekends at work?

We can only see the end result and it confuses us. In fact, it's fine not to succeed right now, but it doesn't mean we should stop trying.

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. - Thomas A. Edison
